So I am officially the crazy gal with a painting of her dog...It's a long story so grab a beverage. In Nov, David and I were shopping at the GAP and they had various paintings by a local artist who was a Junior in high school. She did paintings of dogs, horses, pets and they were really quite impressive and captivating. Life goes on.
Well David, called the GAP, artist's mom works there and got in touch with the artist Bailey Fuller. He was sneaky and took my favorite photo of Dolly Mae, from a trip to Smith Rock. She is lying in the sand watching us climb. What Bailey and David noticed that I didn't, was the Nikon captured the blue sky and trees in her left eye. This is in the painting. It is a 24 x 30 oil painting that is gorgeous. This gal is amazing, the photo does not do it justice.
So now my first "real" pet, favorite buddy, and super dog will be immortalized beyond her years. Amazing job David. Beautiful work Bailey!!
