Happy New Year - Thank god 2009 is over?!

Here is Miss Dolly Mae soaked and happy on our hike at Forest Park today. SOOO soggy. We were supposed to go to the coast, but her human was out late and slept in very late. Oops.

It's 2010!! A fresh start, a new year. Last night was fun. Started the night with a drink with a few friends at their home. Mellow and nice, then off to Mississippi Studios with a friend for a show. Dr. Helicopter, Federale, and The Builders and the Butchers. Fantastic show, although Dr. Helicopter was my fave - harmonica!! Federale sounded like the soundrack to a Tarantino flick or spaghetti western. Great show - fun start to the new year!

Interesting - so far the consensus is that 2009 was just a craptastic year for all. It only gets better right? The culmination of the week was a sad, frustrating and depressing week at work. I guess it's perspective that some people have it much worse in life, and we all have many things to be grateful about... right? I think 2009 was a year of change and growth for me, and 2010 will be the execution of those results.
