This is what happens when you chase a squirrel, but don't see the fence...
She saw the squirrel at the base of the tree and went full speed into a 3" x 3" "chicken wire" type fence. Luckily, her face plugged through one of the holes scraping her muzzle, as the rest of her smashed (and bent) the fence. I know the squirrel was up in the tree laughing.
I was mortified, convinced she broke her neck or put out an eye. Luckily, it's just a scrape. Think she learned her lesson? Sadly, she charged again a couple of minutes later, but obeyed when I screamed "no" and put her back on leash.
"But squirrels is delicious...."
