1) Danskos may be comfy but still cause blisters.
2) Northwest skin is delicate and requires sunscreen, even the first day of spring!! Not the kind of pink I was going for.
3) Volunteer fire departments have sirens to call volunteers in?! I guess it is small town enough that many municipalities just have volunteer departments. Tonight I heard an odd siren down the street and I wasn't sure if I was looking out for earthquake, tsunami, or do I duck and cover? Luckily my dad noticed the dumb look on my face and filled me in.
4) Jimmies = sprinkles. (now why don't they just call them sprinkles??)
5) Old stories by grandpop are actually cool, contrary to the Simpsons.
6) Multi course Italian dinners are fabulous!!
