1 in 8 women...

Yesterday was my annual homage to breast cancer and really the only day I run each year. I dusted off the running shoes and woke up early to join 40,000 and run 5k to remind myself how real breast cancer is. Thank you Susan G Komen. I am always shocked and terrified by how many pink shirts (breast cancer survivors) are standing, walking, and running alongside the rest of the white shirts. You appreciate how prevalent 1 in 8 truly can be.
