Oneonta Gorge Hike

So this is DM and me at Horsetail Falls on our hike today to beat the heat. It was 95 degrees today and will be around 100 on Mon/Tues/Weds. We did a 3 mile loop in the Columbia Gorge, that ends at this gorge where you hike up the cool creek. This is her first hike post op and she was fine. She loved all the water. B had to work all day, crazy mad scientist!


Really, not to much to report this week. Still super busy at work, adjusting. I finally feel like I am asking less questions AND I remember the locker room code without looking it up. Little victories, right? Not to mention first paycheck.


B and I went over for BBQ with the new doc and his family on Friday. Very nice family with super cute kids. He has a gorgeous house with an amazing view of the valley. Just a nice mellow night, and an AMAZING banana cream pie by his wife.


My friend B visited yesterday for a crazy shopping day. We started a new Korean restaurant that was fantastic! New find, can't remember the name right now. Then spent the next 4 hours shopping. I'm not much of a shopper, but man did we get some crazy bargains and finds. I am physically incapable of shopping for clothes by myself, so her trip was long overdue and I am grateful for her patience. Then off for happy hour and drinks.
