This is a gentle leader. It is a harness over the muzzle that keeps naughty puppies from pulling. For instance pulling her human into traffic or nearly down a flight of stairs. Scary! For a few weeks she was quite naughty and realized that she can in fact pull me around and get her way. Sadly, the gentle leader put a stop to that. She was so frustrated at first, pawing at her muzzle until she dropped with despair with her paws over her muzzle. She is used to it now and it works!! I thought she had a UTI a couple weeks ago. She had a few accidents on the carpet, even though she wasn't left for any extended period of time. I took her to the vet and they did a suprapubic tap (needle into bladder- ye-ouch!!) and it was negative. Sadly the vet bill was VERY positive. One behaviorist had the theory that her "pack" has changed and she is now testing her place in the pack. Sorry Dolly Mae, you went from number 3 to number 2... in a pack of 2. Luckily, she has been better the last two weeks. Silly puppy.
