OH such a brat. I sang her praises a bit too soon. She feels too good and fearless. Yesterday was a trying day for both of us. First, when I ran upstairs to vacuum (15 minutes tops!!) I came down and she had this guilty look and slobber on her leg. There was one staple hanging on for dear life. Grrrr. Then I ran up to put away the vacuum and she FOLLOWED me up the stairs!!! NOOO.
Ahh, but the best part...I decide to go climb and get out of the house. She can be in the kennel with the cone for 2 hours, it's fine. We did this for longer the last time she had surgery!! Well, Houdini has figured out how to untie bows and pull off the cone collar while in the cramped kennel. I got home, shes sitting there, cone in the back of her kennel, and I check her incision, she chewed out most of the remaining staples!!! I found three, I think there are about 4-6 in her tummy, and removed the few remaining. I can't believe she pulled this off!! I was so mad at her but mad at myself. Luckily, the incision is healed enough that it wasn't too bad, minor wound care.
