Today, I dropped her off at OSU for her knee surgery. It was so weird walking in there alone. She was fine going in the door, but as soon as she was a few steps in, sniffed around, she did a 180 and politely sat with her nose at the door to be let back out. I think she remembers. She wouldn't cross the threshold into the exam room, then promptly ran under the chairs to hide. I feel like an ass. Happy Anniversary Dolly Mae.
The new team is OK, but I miss her old surgeon and her old vet student super buddy Jonathan. He was really good with her.
It's too quiet. This sucks. I hope she doesn't hate me...
