Moment to vent - but OH MY GOD how is it that folks in Portland are SOOO clueless about driving in snow?! An unpredicted snowstorm set in around 2pm. I left work at 4pm anticipating stupidity. I arrived home 2hours 57 minutes later. This is normally a 7 mile, 12 minute commute!! It was a stupid parking lot, even though in the photos you can clearly see the driving surface was wet and slushy. Outside temp 34 degrees. In all fairness, there was 2-3 inches on my deck when I got home at 7pm but people PLEASE?! Can't we all just drive 30 mph and call it good? I almost ran out of gas and puppy peed inside.
